eUML2 Modeler adds an UML flavour to java development within Eclipse. It's easy to generate Class and Sequence diagram from code.



Modeling assistants


Based on a concept from GMF, this feature makes the diagram editor more user-friendly. Modeling assistants ease the creation or insertion of elements and links on the diagram.

The modeling assistants work in three ways:
  • Element creation through a popup toolbar on the diagram.
  • Link creation with connection handlers on elements sides.
  • Link and element insertion with connection handlers.

    Click & drag a connection handler:

    Drag to the taget classifer and the link will be created:

    Click & drag a connection handler:

    Release anywhere on the diagram background, a popup menu will appear to insert super type or subtypes:

    Note that the other connection handlers allow the insertion of existing associations and dependencies.
