Modeling assistants are some floating tools for creating on diagram . These tools show up when mouse move over the diagram or elements. You can use them to create easily elements and relationships between them.
There is two kind of modeling assistants:
Over a table, the toolbar allow you to create new property, new method, new constructor, interface and class .
The connection handler for creating an association between tables:
The connection handler can be used to insert elements:
Click & drag a connection handler:
Release anywhere on the diagram background, a popup menu will appear to insert super type or subtypes:
A new element has been inserted in class diagram
Note that the other connection handlers allow to insert existing associations and dependencies
